I’m not sure the takeaway, is ‘be more gentle with teaching children’. The takeaway is clearly that the stories are BS? I was raised in a cult and the trauma is different, but the same. I wish the takeaway would be to start to question why we all believe random things without evidence, and if there is a better way…
